These survivors must fight their way through levels, cooperate with one another, so that they can reach safe rooms that act as checkpoints, with the goal of reaching a rescue vehicle at the campaign’s finale.
It is set during the aftermath of an apocalyptic pandemic and focuses on four survivors who have to take on the infected specimens. Just as with the original Left 4 Dead, Left 4 Dead 2 is a first-person shooter which pits players against hordes of zombie-like enemies.
