I'm really surprised there aren't more options out there than there are for this everyday basic functionality. I have been using Accounts 2 Checkbook for iPhone and I like it, but it doesn't offer a watch app. I don't want it tied to my actual bank account at all, but I want to be able to readily check my "checkbook register" app for my balance from my watch when I need to and enter any debits from the watch as I need to without my phone and have the phone app and watch app update each other with any transaction info I may enter on either.
I am looking for an app that is just as basic as Balance was. For years, I have used Balance, but it hasn't been updated in years, is no longer available at the App Store and it is now slowing my phone down so I have to move on to a new app. I am looking for suggestions for a good basic checkbook register app for iPhone that also offers a good Apple Watch app to accompany it.
